@crissy267894 At 36 years sober and working a successful 12 step program keeping my higher power, GOD, first and foremost in my life. Cravings are few and far in-between.
I'd love to hear what the others say.

I thankfully very rarely get a craving. My nightly sleep terrors, in which I'm always intoxicated, are horrible yet one thought of them is a great reminder to stay out of the terror that alcohol brought me.

Look up to remind myself of our God and doing a kindness always works .for darkness cannot dwell in a situation led by kindness and positivity

Fast forward the tape and remind myself what's going to happen if I drink again. It terrified me

When I’m craving , first if the thought enters my head I tell my husband . I’ve been sober many times but can’t seem to make it past 5 months , so we have a deal that if I start craving I tell him and start cleaning or exercising . It has been working so far except one night and I went to bed and rocked my self to sleep on my tear soaked pillow . No tears for the drug itself but tears because it is still controlling me.
