Yesterday I humbly picked up yet another white chip. I’m not sure why I thought myself drinking was going to be any different this time. Truthfully knowing that it wasn’t. I know I am powerless and know that once that first sip hits my lips it is going to be game over. Here’s to starting again!

Is is so easy to fall for the sweet lies that addiction tells us. "I can have just one." "I can be a social drinker" "I can moderate my alcohol." Don't beat yourself up too much, just own the lesson. You are picking back up so that is a win.
