Getting a second OWI

good question! :+1:t3:

For me it was yelling at my daughter when I was drunk and telling her to go to her best friends house because we got into it about my drinking/drugging.
My daughter is my heart and as a result of my disgusting behavior in active addiction, she suffered. :pensive:
And being Mentally, emotionally and physically just dead inside. That was it. I’m done. Just for Today
Thank you for sharing and bless you :hibiscus:

Yes! I was tired of being dead inside. I was enjoying less and less except for alcohol.

My ex left and divorced me after a 33 yr marriage. I pretty much knew my already miserable existence would only get worse being alone...I went from hating her for leaving me to thanking her for possibly saving my life.

I was no longer functional. I had to stop before I hurt any of my patients.

Not entirely sure it's broke yet. That camel's got a strong back.

It got real bad where I would drink once and feel like I needed to go to the hospital. Was suicidal. Lost everything. My higher power helped me break through the denial that I was a sick puppy. You can keep going down to n the elevator or get off on the floor you’re on.
