I got these last fall in treatment. When I moved out of detox they were left behind by the last dude who apparently only wore them once. They didn’t fit my roommate but they fit me just fine.
I can afford shoes but I’m grateful for the fact these shoes found me. I am grateful that it was $80 I could spend somewhere else. As they begin to break down I will miss these shoes as over the last 11 months they remind me daily of how far I’ve come on this journey of sobriety
