Please explain.
I agree. We are all taught things in life and specially growing up. Sometimes we find something completely different that works different but still has the same end result.
Dry drunk is just not working the steps not getting into the big book just going along so yeah I’m I’m OK but you can fall back and drink at any time you have to have a higher purpose a higher meaning in life the big book will help you in so many ways. You have to believe in yourself firstly and you have to make amends to people you have to work the steps just work the steps one day at a time keeping it simple not over thinking.
“Dry drunk” is AA speak for someone who is sober but struggling in life. It’s practically ALL of us at some point when we first get sober, and later. I find it’s used in a judgmental way by some, and so I’m not a fan.
I agree with your last sentence but I wouldn't know what AA says. As for struggles, that's just life. Everyone faces one or five in their life, you just have to know it's a struggle but you will break out of it eventually. Just pace yourself and keep moving forward. Thanks for commenting. Own the day don't let it own you.
