Hey Kyle! I’ve been off and on this app for about 4 years now. Overall I really enjoy the diversity of the people, and different perspectives regarding recovery. Unfortunately, there has always been, and will always be a small percentage of fake scammer accounts, as well as trolls who either harass the ladies or like to stir the pot with hatred and intolerance.
I’ve learned to take the good with the bad. For me the good outweighs the bad. In reality it’s no different than most everything these days. There is no utopia out there…not in AA/NA, or other recovery programs and apps, or church, etc. Perhaps we can look at this as a challenge to see how we react and handle these situations, because I believe they are truly unavoidable. I’ve seen so many good people leave this app because of these issues. It’s a shame. Hope you can stick around and get the benefits of having a recovery tool that is accessible 24/7/365.
