When an overwhelming tragedy hits with deep grief or when

When an overwhelming tragedy hits with deep grief or when things a family member makes a comment like "Hows it feel to have thrown your life away?", my mind will sometimes whisper to me, "you know how to kill this nonsense off!"
As my trauma or anger get to a boiling point it's like auto pilot thinking kicks in, even after almost 2 years of sobriety. Do others deal with this?

It’s one of those gut punches that can throw us into a very bad space.
They don’t know you. They don’t know how you’ve grown. You control you. And you’ve done so for 2 years. You are winning the battle today.

You haven't thrown your life away. Your sobriety is such a huge success and you have so much more life ahead of you. I'm sorry people and things can suck. I know it's so cliche, but it helps me, there is nothing so bad that drinking/drugging can't make it worse.
