Why is it that my brain when things are going good always wants to do something to put it all in jeopardy, I know what I need to do, I want to keep doing right, yet I seem to be having thoughts that conflict with what I want and need.

Self sabotage. You have to do some shadow work and work on yourself to find out why you think you don’t deserve the good things once you figure that out you will no longer self sabotage and be able to enjoy the good things.

Yes indeed. Getting out of this cycle of thought takes practice. I try to practice gratitude daily in order to help me see how much I have and be less likely to sabotage it

Sometimes the scariest place in the world, is in our minds. Have you talked to another member in recovery or your sponsor? Might help.
