When we are early in recovery it seems like a death sentence. As we progress, we are given new life. This morning I will pick up some packages of Glazers (local chain Kwik Trip sugary sticky miracles). I will pick up a woman who had knee surgery. Load her walker up and off to the meeting. I’ll open up the church, she will make coffee, and I will chair. We will read a chapter out of the Big Book and most likely have a inspirational discussion. Then we will do it again next week. It may not sound amazing, but it is. I never thought I could love life like this.

That is wonderful! I just had knee surgery I threw my walker into the back of his truck and he took me to a meeting
