When will my eyes be less bleary and red?

OK I’ve been sober for one month and five days… Yay!!! :raised_hands::raised_hands:

It just seems like my eyes look more bleary and red since I quit drinking though. Can’t figure out if this is because I am sleeping so deep sound and hard and I feel like I just can’t get enough rest. It’s the best sleep ever but my eyes aren’t reflecting how much better I feel and how much better my skin even looks. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else

Sensitive subject might not be the bozzing but the life span. Sorry. I wake up and look like I got ran over by a truck and haven't drank in years.

Actually, might be a condition. Although when I sleep hard at times I do get a bloodshot. Just gotta figure the body is going through heavy readjustment after being abused for so long. Things will change. Just don’t use and eventually that body will come around. And congratulations on that miracle you are becoming. Definitely doing great. Keep it going.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

It took a few months for my body to readjust to not having the poison everyday. My mind was foggy, vision weird, joints cracking and popping. I went to the doctor and in my case at least he told me it was all normal for detoxing from alcoholism. It took a few months for me to feel 100% better… then the sugar need took over. Now I crave ice cream… better than a fifth of whisky though.

Yeppers. That ice cream is a killer. Tillamook is my downfall.

Initially I felt like they looked lots clearer and now they feel dry a lot. I was reading that binge drinking can cause dry eye and I’m wondering if this is why they are still a little red—That compounded with allergy season arriving here in The south

Yeah the cherry Garcia has me is a hold for sure

That too. Lol

I think I might’ve figured it out today. I was constantly using eye drops because I had bloodshot eyes from drinking. Now my eyes are used to me putting drops in every morning and must adjust.

Oh wow that’s brilliant. Good job figuring it out!
