When you got sober did you start doing more things like hobbies etc? Making money etc? Trying new things? What are some of the things

Early sobriety it was tough for me to do the same hobbies I once had. I used to pre game before everything :man_facepalming:t2: creeping up on a year I’ve found joy in those old hobbies again. I put more effort into work these days which has paid off, if you will. Once you stop trying to force caring and start doing the world tends to give back more freely. Stepping out of your comfort zone is a good thing. I’ve done tennis, rock climbing, and would like to try yoga sometime.

I always had a huge list of things I wanted to while I was drinking. I did do some of those things, but realistically I was always either at work, drinking or hungover and didn't get may things on the list done.
My sober date is 3/15/22, so about 3.5 months.
Since I've quit drinking I've started:
Pottery (had a wheel in my garage forever and my boyfriend bought me a kiln)

Learing how to reupholster chairs

Hiking

Gardening more

Trying new recipes

Sewing

Painting

I've found the busier I am, the better off I am. No time to think about drinking when I'm busy doing other things.
On days I'm not productive O start getting cravings.

I’m only on day 46. Right now I’m focusing on staying clean and getting my kids back which massively fills my schedules with appointments and classes. Other than that I stay home during the off time and rly don’t spend time with anyone so I don’t have any triggers and keep my circle extremely small right now. Only thing I’ve picked up is a lot of different guided journaling that’s been helping me a lot. And deep cleaning lol

I make remake perfumes and colognes of high end brands that smell the exact same except out of 100% essential oils and no other additives or alcohol so it also lasts longer. Can’t for the life of me figure out how to market or pick a brand name or logo or anything to get my products out there :confused: (also have like other body care products I use the same scents for)
