At the beginning is usually a safe bet.

Ha ha ha, she’s got jokes. First time on this app and the home page is a smidge busy.

Right hear in this moment brother.
Welcome

Just admit you got a problem and surrender

Well as many would say ya just did. Have you already quit using or still trying?

I quit back in September. I quit for 3 years a while back. Missed the wild fun so I went back and proved to myself alcohol is not my friend.

Sounds like you have a good start. Build your community back up and keep rolling

I’m a little skeptical of this app. I’ve seen more beautiful women profiles then a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader tryout.

The app and its members are legit. The staff works tirelessly to remove bad actors. If one does happen to be insincere send their username to support@loosidapp.com

Wow, thanks for the good input.

It’s all in good spirits! Welcome to Loosid where sobriety meets personality! :joy: I just made that up.. silly me..
anyway, glad you’re here.. check out the podcast for more information on what others are doing to stay sober. Great information. I’m here if you need any help, question or concerns about what you’re going through. You’ve made a wonderful decision and you will benefit from this years from now… but in the meantime one day at a time.

Sometimes our sobriety is so good that we don’t think we need it.

Thanks Kevin. I’m here to try to figure out what I missed the last time I quit. I mostly drink out of boredom. My counselor tells me boredom and depression are the same, but I have lived with it so long I’ve shaped my life around it.

“Smidge” I love it. :joy: how are the cheerleaders treating you?

I know I can’t be the only one who noticed that. Two of the cheerleaders even have the same kind of post “I’m having crazy dreams…”

I could be wrong but this app does have a dating option and I’ve seen dating apps with way too many hot girls to be real.

I’m not sure; I would just say steer clear of anyone that asks you to venmo them or is trying to sell you something. I think most people are legit and the ones that are not seem to be vetted and removed quickly.
Any sobriety community will have a few dishonest people I suppose.
Good luck in your sobriety and hope you find some value here!

Aaron B echoed what you said, so I feel better about giving it a try.
