While finishing up with a routine dental checkup, my Dentist

While finishing up with a routine dental checkup, my Dentist asked if I was finally ready to have my top 2 wisdom teeth pulled and 3 cavities pulled. I was like "sure, let's roll!" Smiling the whole time, I got it done and spent the day chillaxing. A former "me" would have fainted from anxiety, but not today as a sober man of 1 year, 6 months. With no pain meds other than Tylenol, I realize that this is valuable time to relax, recuperate and focus on self-care. Every experience, even the uncomfortable/pain producing has a silver lining of newness as I learn to appreciate the uniqueness of my body and those with the talents to care for it. No extremes, just mellow and calm relaxation and soothing refreshment of being present :gift::innocent: Keep strong, friends and feel free to reach out as I'll be couching it for the next few days.

That's awesome. Im a chef and cut my knuckle off a month ago. When I got the sutures I had to take them without any pain meds because I'm an addict and well at that time they were gonna be triggers. So I got 5 sutures without a needle or pain meds. Worst but best day of my life. Be proud of yourself for this victory. I sure am.
