Who cares?

So many of our problems are just petty. We worry about whether we are liked. We obsess over size medium or size large. We resent someone who didn't smile at us. We stress over running out of ketchup. We feel humiliated or ashamed because our car is not as new and shiny as our neighbor's. Meanwhile, people starve, get shot, lose children, get cancer.

TODO: Today, I will say, "Who cares?" when I fret over pettiness. Whenever I am scared, nervous, sad or depressed, I will exercise that wonderful recovery tool called PERSPECTIVE.

These words are so important!.. Being the an&l retentive perfectionist that most likely aided in getting us into this situation in the first place must be dealt with by learning to let things go!!
Not sweating the small stuff, and more selectively picking our battles!.. Thank you Michael!

The longer I am free from my destroyer alcohol, the easier it is for me to accept my 2005 GMC because it’s fine. That lady at the quick shop? Well she might be dealing with a son that has my disease. I don’t know. An attitude of gratitude makes twenty four hours much easier.
