Out of the millions of billions of people on this planet, they chose me. What da PHUQ!
I guess I ought to feel honored that I finally was picked for something.
Why can't being picked for a relationship with the female be this easy?
It's kind of like being in grade school and being the last one picked for kickball. Again, with the millions and billions of people on this planet, I became the consolation prize.
I don't get it. I don't like it, however I have to accept it and do the next indicated step.
The first of which not going to drink over it. Second pray about it. You know that's serenity prayer. You know asking God for acceptance to accept the things that can't be changed. This is one of them. I can't change this. I can't turn the hands of time back. No matter how protected you are, it is still going to happen. It's called life.
So accepting the things you cannot change the courage to change the things that you can. Which would be the next indicated step canceling all the credit cards notifying your financial institutions and lastly on that list notifying the local authorities.
Once you've accepted the things that you cannot change and having the courage to change the things that you can lastly, is the wisdom to know the difference. And that my friends is where a lot of us get tripped up knowing the difference.
Again, am I going to drink over this? Absolutely not. Am I going to allow it free rent in my head? Absolutely not. Of course I'm concerned. However, I just need to do this not only one step at a time but also one day at a time.
And it is through the fellowship and working the 12 steps I have been taught to remain calm. Oh do I want to throat punch someone? Absolutely you would too. The problem is throat punching people is kind of looked down upon in society and that sucks.
So the solution.... No matter what you are going through in this case, someone stole my identity and cleared out my savings of over $350,000 a death in the family people's talking caca behind your back and I'm not just talking about your butthole farting but actually people. No matter what it is, it's just not worth drinking over and if you're thinking about it, turn around and look back at your sobriety time and everything that you've accomplished in that time. Ask yourself is it really worth blowing my sobriety over? If your head is thoroughly out of your booty and not up it, your answer might be just like mine. It's not worth it. My sobriety is way more important.
So in closing, I hope this makes sense to someone out there for you.
