Who on this app goes to meetings? I’m curious to know what percentage of people do and don’t? Do you? I rarely see a lot of people speak of them, I do see the online meetings posted here and there, just curious. For me, a sponsor helped me save my own life after being let down by several. I kept looking and I’m glad I did. I haven’t been to one in over a year, prior to that, I hadn’t attended one in a year
I have to say I go to 5 a week. When I got away from meetings after 32 years I relapsed
I go no less than once a week.
Very similar story
All the time. Meeting makers make it.
I go to between 6 and 8 a week.
I do. Best decision I’ve made.
I do
I do at least one everyday on zoom. Usually two a day. I would still be daily drinking with all the stuff that goes with drinking if it weren’t for my meetings and working the steps
I go to AA every day. Sometimes twice a day
I go to meetings regularly. I have a home group that I participate in and I will fill in with other meetings either online or in person two to three times per week.
That’s awesome
Nice, when I first finally found the right person, I would go to 3 and 4 meetings a day and then for a long time went to 2 at the very least one, we lost our building for the one I used to go to then started going to this other one but it was super far, going to try online ones , just gotta make the time
Where do you find the zoom ones Pam?
Nice, yeah I have to find the time, I’m considering online or at least once a week
I find I need them more in the winter than in the summer. It’s the seasonal depression as well as in the summer I am always on the go and don’t have the time.
so far it has been working for me.
I still try to go nearly daily. Realistically 5 a week
I’ve been sober for over 2.5 years and started meetings a few weeks ago. It’s helping me heal even though I don’t “need” them to stay sober right now.
AA once a week at my home group, & SMART Recovery once a week. I attend NA occasionally, maybe once every couple months. I’ll throw an extra meeting in if I notice that I need one.
