Whoever said after you get clean it gets easier.... Also told us about white knuckling. So how did I fall into white knuckling over four years later :weary:

Good morning Rikka. You may be closer to your goal than you know. White knuckling in my opinion is the first step before finding and acknowledging a higher power. Going from a drunk to a “dry drunk” is actually a great accomplishment, because you are no longer drinking!!! You are at a great point in your life, because you soul is demanding more. Don’t get weary and well doing and follow your heart! I wish you the best. :green_heart::green_heart::green_heart:

I just feel like, I've been sober over four years . Just wondering where I went wrong during that process. But I I suppose maybe my relationship with my higher power does need to strengthen

If I’m white knuckling evidently there is some person place or situation in my life that I am not finding acceptable I have to remember what I’m grateful for then to work on why I’m feeling that way and then see what I can do to change it

Just had to look up white knuckling as it relates to recovery. Guess it means I am doing it since I had no clue bc I did it on my own, huh? :grinning:
Easier and harder are relative terms here. All about perspective.

I like the perception you have. It is harder but not impossible :slightly_smiling_face::muscle::raised_hands:
