I originally downloaded this app two years ago when I first started on my sobriety journey and I found it surprisingly overwhelming. At the time a few days without alcohol felt like years. I would feel guilty every time I reset my tracker and eventually I just deleted the app. I’m two years sober and felt I was in a better place now to join a community in recovery. Our journey is an incredibly sensitive and delicate one.

I’m an alcoholic. Now I’m setting up a support system to not drink, and utilizing our modern day tools.

I downloaded the app because I was curious. I found recovery decades ago. I was 20 when I came to AA and wondered how some of this new stuff works.

To find like minded people! I'm almost a year sober, no one truly understands what I am going through in my life! But I love having a community to come to when needed!

A friend from rehab suggested the app. I was on the dating apps, and it's hard to find others that don't drink. I'm still in early recovery, only 4 months in. I can be around people drinking, but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time around them.

I joined the app for the dating portion, but found that I really like this non-dating section. I don't think I'm ready to date, but I could always use more sober friends.

Btw Andy.... Im almost 29 years clean n sober. This app helps me its good. Thanks.

Well if I am perfectly honest I came here looking to meet/date someone local on the same path in recovery as I am. Looking for someone with some good clean/sober time and experience with recovery/sobriety under their belt. Then I became more involved on here with the entire community and share my experiences strengths and hopes. This app has helped me to positively pass times of feeling lonely and make new sober connections.
