Why do men with wifes keep talking to me?

And thats great. Congrats. But you can do that with clothes on. You have to know you’re going to attract attention from all types including married men posting pics like that.

Dude I live in Florida bathing suits are bi big deal. Can you try to find similarities instead of differences?

You can just ignore my posts if they aren't your style!

Ok well I’m done arguing with someone that clearly doesn’t get the point. Congrats on your weight loss.

And no men can exhibit self control..I think

Ok. Lighten up butter cup!

I honestly can Not believe you are wondering why married men hit on you? You’re doing this all for attention, it’s ridiculous. And trust me when I say Tracy is Not jealous :joy:

The way she critizes me leads me to believe she may be

We are here to build each other up not tear each other down! We are taught to look for similarities not differences! And also to let go and let god!

I doubt it has anything to do with jealousy! It’s the fact that you’re complaining about getting talked to by married men, when you’re literally seeking what seems to be a hookup? And posting a pic in a bikini, not at the beach or pool, but seeming to show your body in an attempt to attract. That’s what I’m getting from this. A lot of guys are drawn to several things in a woman, and when one explicitly expresses interest in getting together along with a pic of her body, of course you’re gonna draw guys in, married, single, whatever. I used to live in Florida too, and yes, bikini, swimsuit pics are norm, but not usually in a bathroom to list on a sober site. Maybe Facebook/Instagram, etc. or even the dating side of this app. You can wear what you want and express yourself, but you gotta be prepared for the response and reaction.

I'm used to it

I’m a bigger girl, I would love to small like you but I can promise you my comments have nothing to do with jealousy. This is my attempt to conserve what this site is really about.

You should be more confident. Girl to girl, I'm actually talking to a really cute guy in my state because of this post so it served it purpose. Everything works out in the end.

Oh ya he's not married either!

I’m married and have talked to lots of people of both genders to help with their sobriety. I have never 13 stepped anyone. I’m very up front in the recovery community when I’m contacted by someone I’m feeling is 13 stepping me that I’m only interested in a relationship as a resource to help with sobriety. Yes…. Men get 13 stepped also.

Wow…did this post go sideways! Speaking as a married man, I’m friendly with many people on this app regardless of their age, race, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, DOC, etc. This is a recovery support app. This app, and you people are a great addition to my recovery. I have learned so much from these discussions, and get a lot out of inspiring others. I think we should spin this conversation towards boundaries, more so than get personal with one another. I have several nice ladies I chat with on here. We mostly keep it about recovery. A few conversations may drift towards a more personal friendship, but it always relates back to our recovery. Sometimes the advice of a father/husband/old fart (lol) is helpful. Sometimes the advice/opinion of a person completely different than me helps open my mind. I have flat out not accepted many friend requests if I’m not comfortable with that person’s profile and posts. I’ve had a few (not many) get a little “frisky” with me. It’s easy enough to put a stop to those. I’ve seen your profile and posts before. As a man (married, but with a pulse, and a history of addictions), it’s a red flag and a no no for me. However, a few years ago I was a very sick person, and was looking for trouble. Today, thanks to my recovery program (AA, and anything else I can get my hands on), I don’t have to live like that anymore. However, there are many people on here struggling, and I bet you attract plenty of them. But, as you say, this is working for you. If so, then carry on. If the advantages (finding good single guys), outweigh the disadvantages (having married men contact you), then great. Unfortunately, the attention goes both ways. There’s no way to filter out the bad ones. More importantly than any of the bs, continue to stay sober and enjoy your life :peace_symbol:❤‍🩹

Did you forget about me Arjun sending you messages

I appreciate that!! I like to help. I feel like I have been given a gift, and helping others is both a purpose and a duty. Sometimes I go overboard lol. Don’t think I didn’t notice your 7.5 years of sobriety, and your profession. I’m glad you found us. You are a great addition to the family! Keep sharing your strength, hope, and experience
