It happens to me all the time too. After doing some shadow work I have realized I’m attracting the energy I’m exuding. Deep down I’m emotionally unavailable so I’m attracting the same. May not apply to you but just thought I would share. I know everyone works their program differently and we all have different belief systems - for me others are simply a reflection of myself. So, when I see a pattern of people triggering me I tend to look within because I believe there’s a message for me in those feelings and experiences. May not apply to you, take what you need and leave the rest. 
One thing I know for sure is we all deserve respect.

But... I don't have any "faith". I'm not against anyone's. I'm only "against" things when they are forced upon us, or we are led to believe that without adopting someone else's faith, regardless of how thinly veiled it might be, that can't get sober. It's just not true that we need god to get sober. Sober life in all-inclusive. I

I could be wrong, but I believe she meant to say “beliefs”. OTOH, you do have faith in yourself, so you could interpret it in that way as well. Either way, have a happy thanksgiving
