Why do people not tell the truth on this app and have to lie about where they live what their name is etc. it’s very sad. This is Recovery. It’s a honest program.
I see that differently, when online it’s okay to use an alias or place a different location for privacy. Maybe they’ve had bad history of being stalked, maybe they don’t want to find someone they know on here for their reasons. Unless they’re catfishing, using fake photos, lying about accomplishments or their sobriety, it’s harmless to keep your real life private on here. We only owe each other our honesty in sobriety
Well, I’ve gotten burnt on catfish on the site so I believe in honesty and telling the truth you don’t have to tell me your entire life story but just some of the details that are honest about who you are. What kind of person and what kind of program you work?
