When I got brought to AA. I didn't know what to expect. I seriously only hoped I could be sober, not using. AA promises sobriety through the steps. I couldn't fake my way thru them. Fortunately I heard a guy speak of life like I Wanted. He walked me through each step. I've had an amazing sober life. Good times and terrible times..life sober is 200% better than that first drink toward insanity or death..
