Why is it always gonna be hard...why do I feel so disconnected even in a room full of people ? Sobriety is still painful

Well I can relate to this a lot some people's frequencies aak a lot of people do not have the same mind so we cannot connect with them as much maybe search for a different group of people it's worth the hard search well that's what I do at least

Exactly right, what Greg said, if your not vibing with that crowd, vibe with another that understands what your going thru! Keep it up chad the outcome will be worth it all!

Hi Chad, early recovery can be a b*itch. Trying to get your body back to normal takes time and patience. Also, recovery programs are really helpful in learning how to cope with life sober. A few: AA, SMART Recovery, The Luckiest Club, Recovery Dharma, Celebrate Recovery. Most of us have found some form of relief within a program.

Thank you for the ideas and encouragement ...we have a place called 401 peer I am afraid center but there a stigma in recovery suboxone isnt real recovery I am starting to believe it....

We all have to do what works for us. Sometimes we try something and ultimately decide that it cannot be part of our recovery. And sometimes we need medical intervention to help with our recovery. Don’t let anyone shame you for your decision, but also, listen to that voice inside.

Yes I just find trial an error the hard way but my heart thing sounds solid and I don't trust it either but time will tell thanks for the encouragement and help...
We are addicts, we do everything the hard way. Lol.
