I was wondering the same thing ?? It kinda discouraged me about this App
People like what they can relate to and pass on what they can't relate to. People come in all different shapes and sizes. We all have different ideas, ideologies, opinions and so on and so forth.
It doesn't mean that your posts are not worth anything. I've written long posts based on years of experience and sometimes hardly got 1 or 2 likes. And then every now and then I'll get another like from someone.
For me it's not necessarily about helping someone in the now but rather planting seeds that will sprout in due time.
Back in the late eighties when I was a younger man and first started going to AA meetings, I got a lot of advice from a lot of people. Most of it didn't do much for me at the time because I wasn't teachable.
But when I was finally ready to surrender and really get sober, all those memories of the early days started coming back to me and helped me find the right path.
