Why is it that some posts get multiple likes and replies then other things get nothing as if the replies and likes are not real does anyone else notice this?

I and thought it was just me, I'll write what I feel is ground breaking stuff and nothing then something stupid and goes crazy, go figure...

Some posts aren't necessarily meant to be noticed nor expected to be liked or replied to. I can't speak for anyone else, but I like to write, so it's moreso of means of Journaling and a lot of just because.

This topic has come up before. The consensus is that on most platforms, females get more responses than males, good looking people get more hits, and certain age ranges (20-40) get more action as well. This seems to hold true on many sites.

Because people are people and people do predictable people stuff.
Also, some people over post. They post every stupid thing that pops in their brain and oversaturate this place. One lady posts multiple "thoughts for the day" almost every day I mean, what in the fĂĽck?

That’s it for me I don’t over post but even if someone did this is a recovery platform anyways not gonna make me drink I just knew it couldn’t be just me that noticed almost as if the responses are generated by bots lol

So what if she over posts if it’s helping her sobriety and your obviously reading them so how difficult is it to hit a like. I mean you do you it doesn’t impact me I was just curious is all people’s thoughts

Same as a facebook algorithm. Key words, how many likes, comments etc bumps up your post.
It’s not a sexist thing… jeez … the technology is not programmed that way.
It's not a secret plot against any of us. Computers use algorithm logic. I write my personal experience with AA. I hope it helps others. It's all we can do. If I were here for likes or gold stars it wouldn't help anyone. Trust your share is helpful and give it from your heart. If you help people it's great. If we get challenged it's great. We need to be accountable to other anonymous AA folk. We all have a chance, an opportunity to live because of AA. Keep on writing and going to meetings.
