I totally agree! At this point Iām just focusing on work and sobriety.

I used to obsess about this. Until I finally worked the steps. And relinquished my control to my higher power. If the right woman comes along, and I meet her organically, as opposed to these super vain and fake dating apps, then great. Until then Iām going to focus on me and continue to put my sobriety first.

Because people are still a&& holes, regardless of sobriety or not. Humans are flawed. No way around it.

I think the right people come along when we're ready. Like everything else we learn in recovery, when we try to force the issue and impose our will and our plan on the world things get sideways fast.
I am 4 years divorced and still not sure I'm ready to do it. Which means I'm not, right?
If sober dating was easy then we would just repeat the same mistakes as before.
