It feels so lonely making a big change like this. It’s difficult to find relatable people where I live. Feels like I’m the black sheep no matter what.

Thank you so much. I never fit in with the bar crowd and don’t fit in with the people in my town who are recovering. But don’t feel comfortable with people who don’t have a vice. That probably stems from feeling unworthy. Going to try to feel through it and not avoid it. The feeling of loneliness was making my body hurt and my mind says “a drink would lift the weight”.

Have you ridden the Virginia creeper trail? My son and I hit it once a year, and you could join us.
Not that one in particular but it’s getting to be about that time for mountain drives and renting cabins.
