As expected, my employer of six years let me go this past Monday. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do.
Through connections made at a volunteer organization I work with this news came as an opportunity to provide me some part-time work likely to turn into full-time. They were impressed with the work I’ve done over the past decade and how hard I work.
You might be down sometimes but you’re never out. And no matter how dark things look, if you look hard enough you can always find something to be grateful for.
