Ayyy! Way to take the step, and choose yourself! Proud of you. That badgers shirt shows me your task of sobriety may come a little more difficult than others. As an alcoholic in recovery from Wisconsin myself, I know there is a bit more to it for us culturally. You’re doing great, you won’t regret it.

I can't say it's simple, but it is one moment, one day at a time. We all have options, and one thing i keep telling myself is to make a decision, a choice for today that will make my tomorrow self proud of my today self. You got this, stay aware of how the demons can speak to us in our own voice to lie and say it's ok to have that drink, that sip or pull from a bottle. Just because no one else will know or find out. You yourself will know. Do it for yourself, do it for your tomorrow self. It's a battle. Wear that armor of sobriety proudly and with honor. If you pull for yourself, we will help pull with you.
