Working step 2 -believing power greater than myself can restore my sanity.

@cassi293798 The 2nd step is there for us to realize that we are not god.
If I may suggest downloading the "Everything AA" app. In the app you can read and listen to the Big Book and 12x12. Listen to the audio version of the 2nd step.
The first 3 words of step 2 clearly state.. "Came to believe..." We all have to believe in something. It's called blind faith. Here is where you get to choose what and who that something is... As long as it is greater than you and as you understand him.
During our drinking/using days we were that power. It was our self will. Self will run riot. It was our self will that brought us to where we are in life right now.
Out there is a power greater than ourselves. We just need to believe in it.
You can do this. We are here for you. You got this.
