World War III Fears

I’ve got OCD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder and ADHD; I’m too old and have too many dq’s to be drafted but it’s the fear of Nuclear Armageddon that’s stressing me out. Trying to tune the news out but it still finds ways to break through; how do you guys find ways to deal with the events of the world as of late?

I accept that it is nothing I can control, I do my best to stay spiritually fit, and I try to live every day well, above all I will not pick up because it will only be worse. Not watching any news has helped me, one day I realized that it was just filling my head with more stuff I can’t control and I already have plenty :joy:

Like Brian said, I just try to make peace with the fact that I can’t control certain things. As long as I am working on whatever I can control it means I am doing my part in the world. Much love :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Stop watching the news.

Just as we may have to change our hang-out environments, friends we sow and time with, and life routine when getting sober, you also may need to change your media intake. It’s okay to stay up to date with current news, but it needs to be outweighed with positive news and reinforcement.
