With SG shutting down, I now feel like George on Seinfeld. I’ve been a pretty active participant on this board for some time. This app is a bit more “recovery” focused. Meaning that 99% of the threads are pretty darn serious. I love it here. It’s a place where I can share my experience, strength, and hope with my brothers and sisters. I had a number of close friends that moved on and are no longer here for one reason or another. It began to feel more transient, and I found myself burning out a bit. A few friends told me about SG. In the past 2 months I began to really get into it. I needed a little break, and needed to laugh. SG definitely was more entertaining, and I enjoyed the crazy memes and comical posts. It’s as if I had two worlds. Here I was serious Lee, and on SG I was cracking jokes on every silly and perverted thread. Now my two worlds are colliding! I don’t even know who I am anymore
Actually, love this place and I’m very happy to see a lot of SG peeps over here.

You are both sides of yourself. We all have many sides and facets. I think we'll find a balance here.

I don't mind the SG people bringing some levity over here. We all know why we're here, and how serious our situations are. Laughter feeds the soul.
