Would you say having a non alcoholic beer is kind

Would you say having a non alcoholic beer is kind of relapsing lol? I was craving for a beer but then I drinked a Heineken 0.0 being sober is hard on the holidays

Just be careful. For a while I was drinking NA beer to “fit in” with the boys. It went well for a few weeks. Then I noticed I was sucking down the NA as fast as I used to drink regular beer. I realized it wasn’t the substance, but the obsession. It’s been several months since. At thanksgiving dinner I had an N.A. beer my brother in law offered, and it was fine, but I know it will be months again before I would even consider drinking another one. Soda and tea are just fine with me.

Same experience here. I have to watch myself. If I am drinking it "alcoholicly," I have to stay away from it.

Yea I only had one but it will make you think about the taste of a beer and want to crave another one

It was to just get it off my mind of thinking I really wanted one , I got to be more strong minded because I almost talked myself into a real one before I just grabbed the non alcholic one so it did me justice for now but I’m good now last time i had a non alcholic beer was about 6 months go so I had two beers this year in non alcoholic beer I’m still tempted but I got to have more self control but I do think the same thing what’s the point drinking it if you get no buzz but it was more to get the taste out the way for me I would never drink more then one it’s a waste and pointless

I don’t consider it a relapse

It’s mostly good for your health anyways a lot of probiotics but it’s fermented but it doesn’t give me a buzz but since you haven’t drank so long it would do it to you

Let’s be honest, all beer tastes like $hit. I drank for the effect.
There is more alcohol in using mouthwash than a n/a beer.
I get the fitting in, but I found it was pulling me towards the first drink. Remember, it’s the first drink that gets you drunk, not the eighth. Do what you like, but I urge you to be cautious.

Who cares what I would say, is my answer. If you can make a choice and not regret it, that is progress. "To thine own self be true." Right? Certainly be cautious and carry on smartly, short of that, just stay sober, and affect others in a positive light. The rest is semantics.

I think it's a "state of mind" thing. If you feel concerned or otherwise tempted/triggered, then they might not be right for you. I used to drink more of them, and while I enjoy them, they no longer fill that same void so I kinda tapered them out a bit. Your mileage may vary. Good luck!!
