Yesterday I had the pleasure of volunteering at a Safe Haven I’ve been advocating for since September. As I was leaving I noticed this beautiful red rose growing by its lonesome. I took a quick picture before catching my train, but this beauty really made my afternoon. Reminds me to practice gratitude and to appreciate the simple pleasures of every day life.
