Yesterday was my birthday I recently been trying out dating again so i went on a birthday date. I noticed that when on the date the girl has a alcohol problem she made it sound like she had control over it but it was denial she won’t accept there is a problem. I just want to find a sober girl and be happy but its so difficult with everyone just seeing my past an not my future. Makes me feel ugly,not good enough, like im invisible

Gary, don't worry about what people think. If there's an opportunity for reconciliation, take it. If not, keep moving. You'll make the right friendships along the way.
