Yesterday was my first birthday sober since I was probably in high school.... It was good, and still odd. I spent the afternoon and evening with my son so I didn't even think about alcohol. It was his mom's usual overnight so I got home and then there were the demons. But I'm still here, clean. Over two weeks and had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in longer than I can remember.

It's a blessing and a curse dear... Not to sound like a pity party but most of them weren't good, but the good ones are worth it! Most of them that I remembered I woke up right after for one reason or another. Hope your journey is going well. Grateful mine has turned the corner. Best wishes
