Yesterday was the 1st time being honest to myself and others. I was clean for almost 2 yrs but I relapsed about two weeks ago. I was honest with my family/friends for the 1st time ever in my addiction and didn't continue to lie about my recovery. So of as today I have one full day of being clean.

It's not the quantity, but the quality...now you can start on a firm foundation with the most important principle we have. Without honesty, there is no possibility for humility. Those two years are not "lost"- they are still part of our experience that we can pass on. Good job. And welcome to The Middle Of The Boat!
