According to the National Institutes of Health, scientific evidence shows that yoga supports stress management, mental health, mindfulness, healthy eating, weight loss and quality sleep. I have mild scoliosis,so, doing yoga every night drastically reduces pain the next day. Keeping your body flexible is good on your joints and can help keep yourself healthier as you grow older. Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength.
Yoga, also, keeps me grounded and in tune with my environment. The flow of yoga is therapeutic. My mental health improves after i’ve done my daily routine. It’s one of the main things that help me calm down during a panic attack or when i’m feeling sad/ crying. It helps me focus and relax.
Yoga is just the best 


Any suggestions on other options for ways to calm down and relax…??
Alsoooo i always love learning and adding to my yoga flow- what’s your favorite pose or what’s good poses to help my back get stronger/ feel better/ stretched?? (mines fav pose is downward dog hehehee)

Yoga is great ! Try Journaling or reading, perhaps sewing or beading?...
Poses for back - sphinx, cobra and locust and you can never go wrong with cat-cow
