Your Not Alone

This Mashup on Dax "Dear Alcohol" shows that so many of us were in a dark place and didn't wanna change once upon a time. But with time, self compassion, self love and trust in others we can start to recognize who we really are and get healthy. God Bless all
I listen to "Dear God" when I'm conflicted also in life. In may never see physically what God looks like but I can feel the miracle within.

Right it's incredible how people can bring people together.

This was the first song my sister showed me on day 3 of my sober journey - I bawled my eyes out, but it made me feel less lonely at that time.

I honestly listen to music like this to honestly help me stay sober because do I really want to go back to not feeling and being dysfunctional again? Because that's all my alcoholism does. Or can I change my mindset and find a different way of living life.

Music is so helpful and healing. You can always change your mindset, and if music is able to do that for you , keep listening :slightly_smiling_face:
In regards to other options for changing your mindset, I found partaking in activities I really enjoy doing helped, i.e., exercise, writing, reading, movies/TV shows, cooking, and shopping. There's so many options out there
