Speaking from the podium on anniversaries is amazing. I didn't think I could do it but now I look forward it. I just couldnt believe they wanted to hear my story. Speaker meetings arnt for you but rather for the person who needs to hear their story but hear how you've done it. Last birthday I was asked to speak with one of my mentors who was celebrating 38 years. It was one of the greatest honors I've had in sobriety. Hearing stories of successful sobriety is so helpful!
