Coming up on 60 days, does anyone have any daily habit suggestions I could start building to help me with my life and recovery?
Find a good routine ... don't make it so regimented. Recovery doesn't have to be militant. You can recover living a "normal" life without booze. Start with the basics- wake-up, exercise, eat, self care, eat, work, eat, and then downtime doing something you enjoy, and getting solid rest at night. Congrats on 60!
That
looks regimented, but you get it
GRAT👏🏼IT👏🏼UDE
Make a list of ten things every day. The antidote to self-pity is gratitude.
Go to meetings and make friends. Be part of helping someone else with their recovery instead of sitting on the couch white knuckling.
For me in early sobriety, I went to early morning AA meetings & night meetings everyday for a year. This put me in the right mood I needed. I went to many different meetings until I found the ones that I liked best! Usually a *positive vibe, or great cookies or cute girls. Then I made friends & picked up commitments. It was an adventure! Have fun! Sobriety is cool once u get passed the jitters🤪
Breakfast and lots of meetings!!
It's working for me anyway
Small goals that build. Example exercise snacking. Start w 10 squats then increase it every other day same with something like pushups (on knees if easier) increase it over time. Don't don't do them every day. Let the body rest. Get a dopamine stack going (in addition to ex) the following provide good hits to your brain: walking, getting some morning sun without sunglasses for a bit, prep for eating well and focusing on good nutrition (plants, smoothies). Get blood work done to ensure you are not deficient in anything.
Meditation. Sounds silly, I know. But it has truly changed my life. And tapping for anxiety! So helpful
Start replacing your old ideas or habits with new healthy habits. For example I go to the gym everyday and then I go to a meeting at 6 and I also have a variety of different meetings that I go to each week. Message me if you need advice I know it's difficult
Do you need distractions right now Jenna, the first 90 days is terribly confusing and that doesn't make things easier but you need to divert your attention to walking reading different somethingS
Just try to stay busy, you could do 12 step work by going early to meetings and helping out with coffee and chores
Habit. Start with one habit. Don’t overwhelm yourself. A habit You can keep doing. Find a way you can get a visual of you marking off this habit daily. Once you build that one habit work on the next one. The power of one is great. Check your circle. You could be influenced with negative energy. If this helps. Awesome
I like doubling up a daily phone call with a daily walk - as much as it pains me to admit, the self-help folks are right and sunshine really does serotonin wonders

Reading the Just for Today daily, or Daily Affirmations, journaling helps me tremendously
I make my bed and say good morning to my higher power.
I start my day with a short yoga routine. I stay busy doing yard work or projects around the house if I am not working. And walks are great, I like to check out different parks and walking paths.
Yes. I wake up and tell myself " you're an alcoholic and a drug addicted what are ya gonna do about it". I read Daily Reflections passage of the day. I also read other short passages to get my mind into being grateful for what I have. I say some short prayers and ask for help. I call my sponsor. I go to a meeting (AA) I give thanks that I made it through the day sober. Repeat the next morning
Meditation, journal…. Even if you just start with 5 minutes a day, walking meditation, breathing.
