Don’t use, do whatever it takes to not use. Remember what you are working towards and who you want to be. Also candy helps

It’s been so hard, like during the day I’m fine but as soon as i hits like 7-8 o’clock the cravings are really strong

Go to bed earlier , turn on music, light candles and take a bath.

You’re welcome, be safe and best of luck to you. Have an amazing night.

Don't drink or do drugs

Call someone have them stay on the line with you. The cravings are only 21 seconds, all you have to do is hold on for 21 seconds, that’s how long a craving last.

Really? I never knew that. Thank you for that info  now that I know that It might be a lot easier

I’m trying something I never heard of doing. Using l-glutamine. When you get a hard craving I use 1000mg of l-glutamine under my tongue wait then wash it down. It can lessen the craving quick. Use powder or break old the capsule.

Thank you so much, def gonna use this!

What is glutamine if you don’t mind me asking ?

Also kudzu root will lower the amount of drinks you have if you do drink

It is that simple. Maybe not easy. Anything worth it isn't easy. Play the tape it's forward

It’s an amino acid

Have a plan, occupy your time doing all the stuff you could have been doing if you weren't wasted, go to meetings or work on your mental health, exercise, cook and eat real food, sleep because you will be tired

Honestly, I thought I would be one of the first in my group at rehab to relapse. Five years later, one day at a time, I anchored myself in my commitment to myself and have made it thus far. The only thing that can do it for you is to dig your heels into the commitment NO MATTER WHAT. I realized about myself that I was willing to stick with my commitments as long as “I felt like it” and then got slapped in the face with the realization that that is not what a commitment is.

Playing the tape forward was actually a surprisingly helpful strategy as well.

In the long run and over time, creating a strong support system and working on the issue from the inside out with therapy or coaching. Addiction is the symptom, not the problem. The underlying causes are what provoke the addiction, usually having to do with self worth and self love.

Have faith in yourself. You are capable of ANYTHING you set your mind and heart out to do. Message me if I can help in any way.:heart:

Yea so far today I have been good. It’s more so around bedtime which is about 10:30 because I can never sleep. It’s like I’m wired
