Day 1 free from alcohol again. Is there anything to drink that will calm that craving that tastes as good? Coffee is all I got so far..

For me, the only thing that takes the place of alcohol is purpose. I try to help others, find a hobby, art, music, or get active. Just like a toddler who is throwing a fit, we would “re direct” them. That is what we have to do to ourselves. I wish you the best of luck! You are worth living a full beautiful life!

I like to drink maltas. It's a Spanish drink made from hops but non alcoholic. You have to drink them cold. I also drink a potion my team from Haiti makes. :joy: It consists of seamoss, ginger, clove, a tea bag, and leeks.

That tea recipe sounds amazing, is that all the ingredients? I want to try that!

Sometimes they throw cinnamon sticks in there and an onion. You have to get fresh sea moss and soak it over night to get all the salt out. Then you simmer (do not rush the process. Allow everything to slowly come out of it naturally) it down for a few hours until it turns into a gel. Sea moss has so much nutritional value in it. Not to mention it helps with joint pain and raises your s*x drive. I am a chef and have been taking/drinking these foreign remedies all my life. Soursop is another great fruit that has cancer fighting antibodies in it, plus so many other benefits. Fresh is best in my opinion and I do not like man made chemicals or vitamins in my system.

Crystal light lemonaide. Sounds stupid but it helped me if I just had to put something down my throat. And I did sometimes. Its not super sweet and its a little sour. Activity - even just walking is super helpful. Or sleep. Its not horrible. Your body is recovering. Coffee just jacks your nerves if you do too much. You can do this. Booze is plant matter. You are more.

Make mocktails! Soda water this and soda water that. Fresh squeezed juices, shrubs, Have fun doing everything you didn’t do because you didn’t have time. Take a deep dive into coffee, tea…study it. There’s a lot going on there. Be of purpose, make healthy food taste awesome. And BE OF SERVICE. It’s the best feeling in the world. Even if it’s as simple as noticing someone, and saying hello using their name. Make a sandwich for someone that doesn’t have any food. That’s life changing for someone in that moment. You’ll be inspired and feel grande! Peace my friend!

Awesome thanks!

Body armors and strawberry banana smoothie and fresh fruit with a little salt lots of lemon water

Perfecting the art of the Arnold Palmer. That ought to keep ya busy for awhile.

Seltzer water and Welches grape juice.

leilo kava drinks helps me out it calm in a can

I always loved redbull, but after getting off alcohol and stimulants redbull was my go to! Candy helps to. Alcohol has lots of sugar so your body craves sugar when you quit drinking. Caffeine can make the withdrawal anxiety worse tho so just be cautious. I finally cut back on caffeine but it helped me in the first month or 2
