Reminders of what it was like
I have using dreams pretty often, and they are really vivid.

I did last night and it is such disorienting feeling. I woke up shameful and scared. It was so hard to shake those feelings this morning.
I do! And wake up grateful that it was just a dream. I used to wake up having a panic attack the dreams felt so real
Yes! In my dreams I never actually drink but Iām already drunk and mortified. Itās a terrible feeling but such a relief to wake up sober.
From time to time. I woke up one day thinking how am I going to explain it then snapped into reality and realized I hadnāt drank.
I actually I have them quite often.
Not sure if they mean anything.

And once I pretended to take a couple puffs of a joint.
Yes, a few times. But always great to realize that it wasnāt real.
I have them ad well. I am glad that I am not the only one.
It's part of Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome.. and it lasts anywhere from 9 months to 18 months. Your body takes a long time to recover from the damage.. just be patient with yourself and know that every time you have one, it's one closer to healing...

I have a few time and in each one I said no to drinking - not a comfortable dream but glad my subconscious is on board lol
I had those for a few years each time that I had them I made sure I talked to someone about it I failed many times in my sobriety because I was afraid to ask for help now I'm approaching 7 years
Sorry Misty for the late reply, I have not been on this app for so long... But I actually had one about an hour ago and woke up from it!! I was putting weed in a bowl he was getting ready to smoke it... Was not even my drug of choice. It's not uncommon.
