I feel that way at times also.. I’m here for you if you ever need to talk. Stay strong!! I’m 20 months into my recovery & I’m slowly allowing myself to connect to sober people

This is a good place to start but my suggestion is to get invoked in recovery meetings. You will be amazed the people that you meet that will become sober friends. Recovery team is what helps.

I’m open to the idea of giving meeting another go. I’m in a whole different place now (5 yrs clean)vs. before

Doesn’t hurt! There are some cool people who go to meetings. That’s basically how I’ve been able to maintain a social life bc all of my friends were drinkers and I had to let them go

There are so many wonderful zoom meetings. That’s all I have been able to do because of health. I made friends and we connect everyday.
