Going on walks has been such a huge help for me. Have I been on 5 long walks in one day before just to get out of my own head? Yep! Does it help? Yep!
Do you just pack up a backpack with snacks and water and just start walking?
Love this, Mandy! Walking is such a powerful way to clear the mind and reconnect with yourself. You’re doing amazing , keep taking those steps forward, literally and figuratively! Proud of you
What fun! Inspiring!
Walks are good for the soul and body.
Getting out amongst nature is the most beautiful healing there is.
You look great and healthy! Love your progress for you.
Also a huge fan of long walks to clear my mind. I went to an art gallery crawl yesterday evening and then when I got home, made a snack and then went for a long walk around the neighbourhood. So very healing!
Thank you for reminding me...it's that simple to adjust my perspective. Take a walk. It's good , it's healthy.
I used to use my Harley to get out of my head
No, just my weighted vest and a water bottle usually!
Thanks
Yes! Trees, animals, and a nice breeze really clear the mind. Love walking
Yes!! this is what helped me in my sobriety. Early on when I had a craving of alcohol I would go walk ..Next step what helped was the Celebrate Recovery group at my church.

This post inspired me. I went on some long walks last weekend. First time I have done it in years. It's such a different experience walking the city outside of the car.
You really get to see things like businesses when you're not zooming by.
