Go to meetings everyday as many as you can cram in.

Go to the right AA meetings. Remember not all AA meetings are created equal.

I haven’t attended any yet but definitely going to today

Same, I just moved back to Washington and some of the meetings here get a bit sketchy. I find that meetings held in churches, independent of the church and AA ran, their meetings are positive. Hall meetings I try to avoid unless I see something good in them.

Thank you for the advice

Pick yourself up. Dust those saddles. Walk. We can only go forward

Hello Clover. We all know you're not a loser, just made a mistake. I have recently realized that every benefit of drinking that I perceived was actually an illusion marketed to me, either on purpose or not, by ads, movies, and TV. Once I realized this the tug of way/ weighing good and bad stopped, and I no longer think about putting that poison in my body.

It happens. The important thing is that you recognize it and are still trying to correct it. I agree that you need to start hitting meetings. Some of the best I've been to are the ones in small towns for me, at least.

Better days are ahead as you begin IOP. As others have said, dust off those bones and get back up!!!

Thank you

Thank you

Thank you  Thanh you so much

Sorry to read that you feel like a loser. That never feels good. I would like to encourage you to consider that you are recognizing your imperfections and areas for growth and improvement and that itself already makes you a winner.
