Hey everyone I did good for 14 days and had a back slide. Would appreciate some support

It happen. Feeling good and bam , back to day 1. Don’t know how it happens but u just gotta pick yourself back up , dust off the regret and move forward. Lord bless you on your journey.

Don't give up you were able to get to 14 days so maybe reevaluate your situation amd see what you can do different and get a support group someone you can call when times get tough and can help you through it Goodluck you got this

Back slides will happen during recovery. Pick yourself back up and keep moving forward! You can do it!

Hey Shawn, I’ve been there. Just have to dust yourself off and get back on the saddle. Try to remember where your headspace was before you slipped so you can be aware of it next time and do something different. You got this!

Why did you decide to get sober in the first place. I would imagine there are some disappointed people in your life. Alcoholics fool themselves into thinking that we only hurt ourselves. What did alcoholism do for you? I can guarantee nothing like what sobriety will do for you. The relapse starts way before you actually pick up. Not going to meetings, not calling your sponsor isolating are all signs. You need to make up your mind if you want to be sober or not.

Hey dude, it happens. That's why we take baby steps. So that when (not if, but when) we fall it doesn't hurt so much. It's also easier to get up from a short fall, and easier to make it up. You got this.
