Start eating really healthy and add a simple habit like 5 push ups, and five glasses of water, and brushing your teeth twice, and walking 200 yards, and finding a stair way to walk up mindfully, study stoic philosophy for 10 minutes, call someone you havenβt talked to in a while, calling Strangers with name tags by their name, ask someone if they need anything, make a sandwich and give it to someone hungry, pick up one piece of litter you see along your day , do 5 minutes of square breathing express gratitude for something, purchase panda planner, read out of a mindful magazine for 5 minutes, everything will compound daily, for immense joy in 1 week, two, three, and 4, youβll feel clear, and abundant, and sturdy in your foundation.

We start by asking how to start! Excellent. Maybe visit a AA/NA meeting in your area. Get a temporary sponsor, some literature, read about addiction and/or self improvement. I tried to go it alone for a long time. It never worked. Try and be around people who can relate.
You just have to get up everyday and make the choice not to drink. Before you know it. You donβt have to think about it.
