how do you all feel about california sober? if you don’t know what it is google it

I think that it needs to be a personal choice. For me, my personality is addictive so i have to be sober sober. But I know some folks that Cali Sober works for them. Ultimately you have to do what works best for you, and as a community we need to respect that.

You’re either sober or you are not. If just smoking weed works ok for you then great, more power to you. But, it’s not sober plain and simple.

I personally know many people who are recovering addicts of very hard drugs including meth & heroin my friend has been sober from the hard stuff for years but does partake in smoking pot. I think that as long as she is not injecting herself with heroin & smoking meth there isn’t a problem with her smoking pot if thats what keeps her from the hard stuff
well that’s why it’s called “california sober” & not “sober”

I really don't care if people participate in a marijuana maintenance program. It's none of my business. But don't call it sober. It's definitely not. Besides, you asked for opinions so you got it.

The problem I see with California sober is it relies on the misconception that pot isn't addictive. It is.

Every time this comes up it just feels like someone is looking for one person to say it’s ok. I say go for it. I hear a lot of stories about how it took them right back to alcohol. I mean if it’s worth risking it…It’s not worth it to me. Alcohol fu(king ruins my life.

Willie Nelson quit was free from alcohol for decades. Yes he smoked weed but was kind hearted and had many friends that weren't drunks.
You really have to take into consideration that it is recognized as medicine.
F.Y.I. John's Hopkins has been using Syliciben in a program that treats addictive behaviors and have a better success rate than most grass roots programs like A.A. or N.A. it's not an opinion it is proven science.

personally smoking weed for me helps me from resorting back to alcohol
I believe addiction is a condition that can be treated by creating new nuero pathways.
There are many people that are dying from obesity because they escape through eating addiction.
